Team Group extends humanitarian aid to disaster-hit Nepal
Team Group has taken the initiative to support people affected by the recent natural disaster in neighbouring Nepal as part of its humanitarian and social responsibility efforts.
According to a press release, the assistance includes garments manufactured by Team Group, essential items from its clothing brand Twelve, and medicines from Team Pharmaceuticals.
Team Group held a handover ceremony at its head office on 3 September 2026 to mark the initiative.
Deputy Managing Director of Team Group Abdullah Hil Nakib, Chief Executive Officer Zahidul Islam, and Country Head of Good Neighbours Bangladesh Bertin Gomez attended the ceremony.
Senior officials from Team Group and Good Neighbours Bangladesh were also present.
Speaking at the event, Abdullah Hil Nakib said, "This is not merely a relief initiative; it is an expression of our humanitarian and social responsibility to stand beside people during times of crisis. Guided by this belief, Team Group has taken the initiative."
"Borders may separate us, but humanity knows no boundaries. Standing beside our neighbours during their time of hardship is not an act of favour—it is our humanitarian responsibility," he added.
"Through this initiative, we want to convey a message of love, empathy and solidarity from Bangladesh to the people of Nepal during this difficult time."
