Miley Cyrus returns with new album 'Bass Persuades'
MusicMiley Cyrus is entering a new chapter of her music career with the announcement of her upcoming album, 'Bass Persuades', which is set to arrive on 18 September through Atlantic Records.
Announcing the record on Instagram, Cyrus described music as something powerful, vulnerable and deeply connected to everyday life. The 10-track album will feature collaborations with Model/Actriz and Andrew Wyatt of Miike Snow. The tracklist includes 'Different Religion', 'Let's Get Married', 'Orbit', 'Aftermath', 'Redlights', 'Neon Signs', 'Innocent Ways' and 'Snow', alongside the title track and a 'Bass Persuades Remixx'.
The album marks Cyrus' first release with Atlantic Records after she spent her previous two-album run at Columbia Records. Her last album, 2023's 'Endless Summer Vacation', produced the Grammy-winning global hit 'Flowers'.
Alongside the album, Cyrus has announced her first performances at Los Angeles' Hollywood Bowl. She will take the stage for two shows on 16 and 18 October, with Model/Actriz joining as a special guest. The performances are expected to feature 'Bass Persuades' in full.
Tickets will begin with an American Express presale on 8 September, followed by Cyrus' own presale on 9 September. General sales open on 10 September.
The announcement follows a campaign in which Cyrus teased the new era simply as 'Miley', suggesting a fresh identity for the singer as she moves into her next musical phase.
