How has life changed for Iranians six months into the war?
Iran's economy and the lives of ordinary people have been in dire straits due to the more than six-month-long war with the United States and Israel. Government repression is increasing, along with inflation, a record currency depreciation, energy and electricity shortages, and unemployment. There has been a sense of despair and a tendency to leave the country among young people. As a result, in addition to the external pressure of the war, internal crises have also made life more difficult for Iranians.
