Medipac, Abbott host Digital Discovery Day on healthcare innovation
Medipac Technologies Limited and Abbott Diagnostics convened leading healthcare professionals at Digital Discovery Day 2026 in Dhaka, spotlighting cutting-edge advancements in laboratory diagnostics and digital healthcare.
Held at the Crowne Plaza Dhaka Airport on 18 June, the event brought together healthcare professionals, laboratory specialists, hospital administrators, and industry leaders from across Bangladesh.
This year's event centred on the theme "Advancing Healthcare through Innovation".

Abbott Core Diagnostics Distributor Operation Manager Chaandrish Madani and Medipac Technologies Limited Chief Operating Officer Shamsuddin Zia jointly inaugurated the programme.
They underscored the significance of digital transformation, innovation, and technology-driven solutions in contemporary healthcare.
In his opening remarks, Shamsuddin Zia emphasised that healthcare is evolving rapidly due to digital transformation and intelligent diagnostics.
"Through Digital Discovery Day 2026, we seek to establish a platform for healthcare professionals to engage with global innovations, exchange knowledge, and explore technologies that can enhance efficiency, accuracy, and the quality of patient care in Bangladesh," he said.
Expert sessions featured Abbott Core Diagnostics Marketing Manager of DHS and Systems Sehee Park, Abbott Core Diagnostics Digital Health Solutions Executive Kristin Gopalakrishnan, and Evercare Hospital, Dhaka, Senior Consultant Professor Brigadier General (Retired) Dr SM Mahbubul Alam.
The speakers shared insights on laboratory automation, digital health solutions, connected diagnostics, and the role of technology in advancing healthcare efficiency and patient outcomes.
Participants explored the latest developments in diagnostic technology, laboratory informatics, workflow optimisation, and digital healthcare solutions.
