Helio launches Helio 46 smartphone
Helio has unveiled its latest smartphone, the Helio 46, in Bangladesh.
The company positions it as a feature-rich device with a 120Hz display, a 50-megapixel rear camera, a 6,000mAh battery, and Android 16.
According to the company, the Helio 46 targets consumers who prioritise performance, an advanced display, extended battery life, and a premium aesthetic at an accessible price.
Mohammad Abu Sayem, Head of Sales at Helio, said, "A smartphone is not just a device; it is part of our daily life. Helio 46 will take that experience to a new level, combining performance with premium design."
The Helio 46 runs on Android 16, providing access to Google's newest features and advanced customisation options.
The smartphone features a 6.67-inch HD+ punch-hole IPS display with a 720×1600 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Helio says it delivers smooth scrolling and an immersive viewing experience suitable for online classes, multimedia consumption, and gaming.
The device features a punch-hole screen and a matte finish for a contemporary look and premium feel.
Powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 chipset, built on a 12-nanometre process, the Helio 46 incorporates a 2.0GHz octa-core processor. It offers 6GB RAM, with support for an additional 6GB via memory fusion, and 128GB of internal storage.
For photography, the Helio 46 offers a 50-megapixel dual rear camera system, along with an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.
The device includes a 6,000 mAh lithium-polymer battery, which Helio says is intended to support all-day use. An 18W fast charger is included in the package.
The Helio 46 carries an IP64 rating for protection against dust and water splashes. Connectivity options include 4G, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS, and USB On-The-Go support.
For security, the handset features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and facial recognition. Additional sensors include a G-sensor, proximity sensor, and light sensor.
The Helio 46 is available in three colour options: Titanium Fog, Admiral Blue, and Shadow Black.
