There is considerable skepticism and caution within Tehran about the potential deal. Iran's hardline and military leadership see the US administration's "moderate" label as a divisive ploy. Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and top officials in the Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) have made it clear that any talks must be based on Iran's 14-point proposal.
