Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman returned to the country from Saudi Arabia today (1 June) after performing Hajj.

According to an ISPR statement, he had departed for Saudi Arabia on 22 May to perform the Islamic pilgrimage.

He performed the Hajj as a royal guest upon invitation from the Saudi government.
