Hezbollah claims wide-scale attacks on Israeli forces across southern Lebanon
It added that the operation came in response to Israeli drone strikes.
Hezbollah today (21 May) claimed it launched multiple attacks against Israeli forces operating in southern Lebanon, reports Al Jazeera.
The group stated that it conducted a "wide-scale fire raid" overnight on Israeli military positions in the south.
It added that the operation came in response to Israeli drone strikes and what it described as "heavy missile barrages" on Dibil, Rashaf, and surrounding areas near Hadatha, which it claims resulted in civilian casualties and injuries.
Hezbollah also said it fired artillery shells and rockets at Israeli soldiers near Deir Siryan earlier this morning.
Later, it claimed further attacks were carried out against Israeli troops and vehicles in Qouzah using artillery fire.
