A freight train collided with a public bus in central Bangkok, killing at least eight people and injuring dozens more. The crash on Asok-Din Daeng Road has renewed concerns about Thailand's railway safety standards and ageing rail infrastructure. Authorities and rescue crews responded as witnesses described the bus becoming trapped on the tracks moments before impact.
