Afran Nisho and Chanchal Chowdhury appear in tense Domm teaser
The first look of the highly anticipated Eid-ul-Fitr film 'Domm' has been unveiled, giving audiences their first glimpse of the upcoming survival thriller. The 54-second teaser was released on social media on 8 March.
The teaser briefly shows a serene mountainous setting at sunrise that soon turns tense as danger begins to close in. Armed figures, fearful expressions and frantic moments suggest a desperate fight for survival. The visuals raise questions about who is fleeing, who is chasing and what exactly the characters are trying to escape.
The teaser also reveals the first looks of Afran Nisho, Chanchal Chowdhury and Puja Cherry Roy. Afran Nisho appears exhausted and distressed throughout the footage, while Puja Cherry's expressions hint at fear and uncertainty.
Notably, the teaser includes only one line of dialogue, delivered at the very end by Afran Nisho: "I am Shahjahan Islam Noor, a Bangladeshi Muslim — remember that." The short but powerful line has already drawn attention from viewers online.
Director Redoan Rony said the project has been years in the making and represents a major effort from the entire team. "Domm is no longer just our film — it now belongs to everyone," he said. "If we can meet the expectations of the audience, that will be our success." He also noted that the teaser offers only a glimpse of the larger story, putting a lot of focus on the extremely difficult locations the movie was shot in.
Afran Nisho described the film as both physically and emotionally demanding. "Domm is a survival story, an emotional story. Making a film like this also takes courage, and the team has shown that."
