Elite Steel hosts US Embassy delegation at Kamarjuri facility
A delegation from the US Embassy in Dhaka visited Elite Steel's manufacturing facility in Kamarjuri, Tongi, as part of an industrial site tour to gain insight into Bangladesh's steel manufacturing capabilities and industrial safety practices.
The visiting delegation included Paul Frost, commercial counsellor; Leena Khan, labour attaché; Carsten Fletcher, defence attaché; Nina Fletcher; and Mashur Seth, representing the commercial, labour and defence wings of the US Embassy.
The delegation was received by Elite Group's senior management and briefed on Elite Steel's operations, production capacity, and its role in supporting Bangladesh's infrastructure and construction sectors. Discussions covered technology adoption, quality assurance systems, workplace safety and environmental management practices.
During the visit, officials toured key production areas, including rolling operations and quality testing facilities. Elite Steel's technical and management teams also held discussions with the delegation to provide a first-hand understanding of production workflows and operational processes.

Members of the delegation thanked Elite Group for its hospitality and said they valued the openness with which the facility's systems and processes were shared.
