US-Russia agreement ends, fears of increasing nuclear race
The last nuclear arms control treaty between the United States and Russia, New START, expired on January 29. This will allow the world's two largest nuclear powers to expand their nuclear arsenals without any legal limits for the first time in decades, raising fears of a new nuclear arms race.
