SpaceX applies to launch 1 million satellites into Earth orbit

Elon Musk's space company SpaceX has filed a request to launch up to one million satellites into Earth's orbit at once to boost artificial intelligence, or AI. The application was submitted to the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) on January 30.
