Walton, Intel showcase latest technologies at Dhaka gala
A Walton–Intel Tech Gala Night was held in Dhaka recently, aiming to further strengthen Bangladesh's technology business ecosystem.
The event was jointly organised by US-based technology company Intel and local brand Walton Computer, bringing together business partners from across the sector.
At the gala, Walton and Intel showcased their latest technology products currently available in the market, alongside upcoming solutions. The presentations focused on performance, enterprise usability, smart solutions and customer experience, outlining future directions of the technology sector.
The event was held on 23 December 2025 at Le Méridien Dhaka and was presided over by Managing Director of Walton Digi-Tech Industries Limited SM Monjurul Alam Ovee. Senior officials from government and private organisations attended the programme.
In a special segment, Intel Country Manager for Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Pakistan Zia Manzur and Field Application Engineer Boon Hau Poh briefed partners on Intel's upcoming technologies, processor innovations and enterprise solutions.
Walton also presented an overview of its growing presence in the country's technology sector, highlighting its innovation-driven local manufacturing capabilities and computer products roadmap for 2026.
A display and experience zone featuring Walton Computer products was a key attraction of the event. The exhibition showcased high-configuration desktops and laptops powered by Intel's latest 14th-generation processors, along with all-in-one PCs, tablets, monitors, keyboards, mouse, CCTV cameras, XVR solutions, e-bikes and other smart devices. Walton's newly introduced nine e-bike models drew particular attention.
Among the distinguished guests, MIST Commandant Major General Md Nasim Parvez BSP NDC AFWC and Managing Director of ICB Islamic Bank Mojibur Rahman spoke at the event.
