Plastic factory fire at Islambagh under control
According to the Fire Service and Civil Defence, the blaze originated at approximately 1:30pm

Firefighters have brought the fire under control that broke out this afternoon at a plastic factory in Chairmanghat area of Islambagh at Lalbagh here in the city.
Eleven fire fighting engines contained the blaze at 4:10pm today (17 December) following two and half hours of intense efforts, Fire Service and Civi Defence (FSCD) media officer Anwarul Islam confirmed.

ccording to the Fire Service and Civil Defence, the blaze originated at approximately 1:30pm. The first responding units reached the scene at 1:50pm.

No casualty was reported in the fire.
The cause of the fire and the extent of damage were not immediately known.
