A mild earthquake struck Bangladesh early today (4 December), according to preliminary seismic data, reported by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre.
The 4.1-magnitude quake occurred at 06:14am.
The epicenter was located near 23.95°N, 90.72°E, at a depth of 30 km, placing it about 33 km east-northeast of Tongi and 3km north of Narsingdi.
