Grand finale of Future Bangladesh Challenge 2025 held in Dhaka
The grand finale of the policy competition "Future Bangladesh Challenge 2025," organised by The Bangladesh Dialogue, was held today at The Westin Dhaka.
Former commerce minister and BNP National Standing Committee member Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury attended the event as the chief guest.
He said, "Previously, only senior figures worked in research institutions and policy discussions, but the participation of young people today is truly commendable."
The competition, held from 15–25 November, attracted more than 1,200 young men and women. From these participants, a distinguished panel of judges shortlisted the top ten competitors. Today, 2 December, 2025, the names of the top contestants were announced and awarded.
Mubin Hossain Amy secured first place with his project 'KIRON'. The first runners-up were the team "ERROR-404 FOUND", followed by "RUST BUCKET" as second runners-up. Abdul Awal and Sumaiya Mahjabeen jointly secured the position of third runners-up.
The panel of judges included Barrister Rashna Imam; Mahtab Uddin Ahmad, founder of Buildcon Consultancy; international development specialist Mir Nadia Nivin; Rankon Infrastructure COO Mohammad Subail Bin Alam; entrepreneur Nazim Farhan Chowdhury; Professor Mohammad Nazmuzzaman Bhuiya of the University of Dhaka's Department of Law; Rehan A Asad, Vice President of Expedia Group; and Saima Showkat, Director of Gears Group.
