Appellate Division stays HC order for re-election of Pubali Bank Board of Directors

The Appellate Division of the Supreme Court on Sunday stayed the order of High Court which called for the re-election of the Board of Directors of Pubali Bank Ltd.

The bank had held the election under the guidelines laid down by the Bangladesh Securities Exchange Commission (BSEC) and four members of the Board of Directors were elected at the 37th Annual General Meeting (AGM).

On August 27, the High Court ordered for the re-election of the Board of Directors.
