Bangladesh Infantry Regiment holds 20th Annual Commanders' Conference

The 20th Annual Commanders' Conference 2025 of the Bangladesh Infantry Regiment was held today (13 November) at Shaheed Colonel Nakib Hall of the Bangladesh Infantry Regimental Centre (BIRC) in Rajshahi Cantonment.
Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman attended the conference as the chief guest, said an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) release.
Upon his arrival at the BIRC in Rajshahi, the army chief was received by the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Army Training and Doctrine Command (ARTDOC), the Commandant of the BIRC, and the GOC of the 11 Infantry Division and Area Commander of Bogura Area, the release added.
In his address to the commanders of the Bangladesh Infantry Regiment, the chief of army staff highlighted the regiment's glorious traditions and its longstanding contribution to the service of the motherland.
He called upon all members of the regiment to remain prepared to face the challenges of the 21st century by enhancing their capabilities through modern and advanced training.
During an exchange of views with officers of the Bangladesh Infantry Regiment, the army chief discussed a range of issues, including technological development, research, professional skill enhancement, and the regiment's future plans.
The conference was attended by the GOC of ARTDOC, the Commandant of the BIRC, the GOC of the 11 Infantry Division and area commander of Bogura Area, senior officers from Army Headquarters, officers stationed at the BIRC in Rajshahi, unit commanders, and members of the media.
