Who started a fire at Awami League central office?
A group of protestors today (13 November) started a fire on the third floor of the Awami League's central office on Shaheed Abrar Fahad Avenue, formerly known as Bangabandhu Avenue.
Earlier in the morning (13 November), the International Crimes Tribunal set 17 November as the date of announcing verdict in a case concerning crimes against humanity during last year's uprising. Prior to the announcement, the banned Awami League had announced the "Dhaka Lockdown" programme for today.
Three individuals, including former prime minister Sheikh Hasina and ex-home minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, are facing trial.
