SRK crowns 60 with King
Shah Rukh Khan turned 60 in true superstar fashion — with the grand reveal of his upcoming film 'King' on 2 November. Directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures, the title teaser dropped at midnight, instantly igniting the internet and setting social media ablaze.
The teaser presents Shah Rukh in a dark, brooding avatar unlike anything fans have seen before — silver-haired, bloodied, and exuding menace. In one striking moment, he flips a King of Hearts card toward the camera and declares chillingly, "I don't remember how many I've killed. Were they good or bad? I never asked. I only saw in their eyes that it was their last breath — and I was the reason for it. A thousand crimes, notorious in a hundred countries — the world gave me one name. I am not fear, I am chaos."
King promises a bold reimagining of SRK's screen persona — part action spectacle, part psychological thriller. With Anand at the helm, the film marks their second collaboration after the 2023 blockbuster Pathaan. The teaser's high-octane visuals, sharp dialogue, and striking symbolism — including the "King of Hearts" card — have already sparked intense fan theories.
Joining Shah Rukh in the ensemble cast are Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Arshad Warsi and Anil Kapoor. Set for a 2026 release, King is being billed as "a new SRK experience" — one that pushes his charisma and intensity to their limits.
After Jawan earned him both box-office glory and a National Film Award, Shah Rukh's latest outing looks set to redefine his reign once more — this time, not just as Bollywood's King of Hearts, but as its King of Chaos.
