AI and human capital to headline upcoming national HR convention in Dhaka
The convention will be held on 5 December 2025 at the Sheraton Dhaka under the theme “AI and Human Capital: Driving Business Agility and Innovation”

Bangladesh's human resource leaders will gather for the 7th National HR Convention in December, which will focus on how Artificial Intelligence (AI) and human capital can drive business agility and innovation.
The Federation of Bangladesh Human Resource Organisations (FBHRO) announced the event at a press conference at the Dhaka Reporters Unity today (11 October).
The convention will be held on 5 December 2025 at the Sheraton Dhaka under the theme "AI and Human Capital: Driving Business Agility and Innovation."
More than 1,000 HR professionals, entrepreneurs, corporate executives, and business leaders from home and abroad are expected to attend.
Discussions will explore ways to build a more efficient, innovative, and sustainable workplace through the integration of AI and human resource development.
The inaugural keynote paper will be presented by Johnny C Taylor Jr, president and CEO of SHRM (USA).
Musharrof Hossain, president of FBHRO and HR expert, will deliver the main paper, while Ed Hansen, founder and CEO of Executive Leadership System (ELS), USA, will present the closing paper.
The country's top 20 entrepreneurs, CEOs, HR leaders, and corporate experts will also share their insights and experiences during the event.
FBHRO stated that the convention aims to serve as a milestone for human resource development, institutional transformation, and enhancing national competitiveness, helping Bangladesh prepare for AI-driven global challenges.
As part of the programme, the FBHRO Best HR Practice Awards 2025 will recognise organisations demonstrating excellence in human resource management.
