Advocate Amir Hossain, the state-appointed counsel for Sheikh Hasina and Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, cross-examined Md Alamgir, who is also the investigation officer in the case.
In his three consecutive statements, Md Alamgir detailed that during last year's July movement, killings occurred at 438 locations across 41 districts, and deadly weapons were used in more than 50 districts.

Former inspector general of police Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun earlier pleaded guilty and became an approver.
The prosecution has brought five charges of crimes against humanity and mass killings against Hasina, Kamal, and Abdullah Al-Mamun, based on a probe report filed by the ICT investigation agency on 12 May.
