Brain Station 23 Limited, a leading homegrown software development and digital services provider, and the Modhumoti Bank Limited have signed an agreement for the development of the bank's new digital banking platform Go Smart.

Through this partnership the forth generation bank is going to diversify its digital banking services and Brain Station 23 is set to strengthen its footprint in the local banking industry and to contribute to the digital transformation of the country's overall fintech industry, said a press statement on Tuesday.

The signing ceremony was held recently at the head office of Modhumoti Bank in the capital and was attended by the bank's DMD and COO Shahnawaj Chowdhury and FVP and Head of Operations Division RM Shuvo Rahman and Brain Station 23's COO and Partner MJ Ferdous and its Business Development Manager MD Safiul Islam Khan.

Brain Station 23 has a high reputation for developing high-quality fintech applications and it is one of the leading software companies in Bangladesh working with large financial institutions and enterprises.

"We are very excited to work with Modhumoti Bank," said MJ Ferdous, COO, Brain Station 23.

"Teaming up with Modhumoti Bank to develop its digital banking system will be an exciting opportunity for us because it will let us contribute to the enhancement of the customer experience of the bank and give them the flexibility to do banking with Modhumoti in this digital platform," he added.

"When we chose Brain Station 23 as our development partner for Go Smart, we considered the client list of Brain Station 23. We found top 3-4 banks as their partners and this helped us rely on them for the agreement," said Shahnawaj Chowdhury.
