The colourful procession started from Suhrawardy Udyan, paraded through the city's streets, and returned to the venue for a "Shanti Mahasammelan" (Grand Peace Gathering).
The participants carried banners, flags, and festoons and wore white T-shirts and caps, while chanting religious slogans.
At the front of the procession, large banners displayed the inscriptions "Ya Nabi Salam Alaika" and "Ya Rasool Salam Alaika."

Participants carried flags with the Kalema, placards, and festoons, while a huge national flag was displayed, making the capital's streets vibrant. The slogans of Narae Takbir and Narae Risalat echoed all around.

In a brief speech, Syed Saifuddin Ahmad Maizbhandari said that the Prophet (PBUH) is a special mercy from Allah for humanity and "a peaceful and just society can be built by following his ideals."

He added that the world is plagued by conflicts and inhumanity and that the only path to lasting peace is to implement the teachings of the Prophet (PBUH).
