'Secret meeting' in Bashundhara: Wife of Major Sadique now in DB custody

The Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has taken a woman under their custody for her suspected link with being present in a recently held "secret meeting" of the banned Awami League, its student wing Chhatra League, at Bashundhara residential area.
Deputy Commissioner of DB Muhammad Talebur Rahman told BSS that they took Sumaiya Zafrin, wife of Major Sadique, who is now under military custody, into their custody.
But, he did not disclose the place and time of taking Zafrin into their custody.

Till filing of this report at 11:20pm yesterday (6 August), Zafrin was in the custody of DB, according to the DB official.
