Bangladesh Coast Guard hosts ‘Festival of Youth-2025’ in Chattogram and Patuakhali

The Bangladesh Coast Guard, steadfast in its service to the coastal and riverine communities, organised an anti-drug workshop and public awareness programme titled "Festival of Youth-2025" in Chattogram and Patuakhali.
Lieutenant Commander Siam-ul-Haq, Media Officer of the Coast Guard, announced that this vital initiative was held on Tuesday, 29 July 2025, jointly conducted by the Coast Guard Base Chattogram and Agrayatra. The event brought together representatives from the Department of Narcotics Control from both Chattogram and Patuakhali, along with enthusiastic participation from local school and college students and youth.
Since its establishment, the Bangladesh Coast Guard has continuously served the nation by safeguarding lives and livelihoods in vulnerable coastal areas. Beyond maritime security, the Coast Guard has actively participated in disaster rescue, relief distribution, emergency medical services, and rehabilitation of affected communities—demonstrating unwavering dedication to public welfare.
Through the Festival of Youth-2025, the Coast Guard aims to strengthen its commitment to shielding the younger generation from the perils of drug abuse, fostering awareness, resilience, and a healthy future. This programme forms part of a broader vision to nurture informed, vigilant, and empowered youth who will steer Bangladesh towards a brighter tomorrow.
