General inflation in Bangladesh stood at 10.03% in FY2024-25, the highest in the past 14 years. Food inflation rose even higher to 10.70%, surpassing general inflation and reaching the highest level since FY2011-12. Non-food inflation also surged to 9.47%, marking a 13-year high.
