ULAB only Bangladeshi university in WURI 2025 global top 60
The University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) has achieved a significant milestone by becoming the only Bangladeshi university to secure a spot in the top 60 of the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) 2025. ULAB was ranked 54th in the prestigious Global Top 400 Innovative Universities, reflecting a steady upward trajectory over the past five years.
The results were announced at the 5th Annual Conference of the Hanseatic League of Universities (HLU), held on 10 July in Dumaguete City, Philippines. This year, the WURI rankings evaluated 1,253 universities from 87 countries, with seven Bangladeshi universities featured.
ULAB's consistent improvement in the WURI rankings over the years showcases its commitment to innovation-driven education. The university previously ranked 100th in 2021, 96th in 2022, 75th in 2023, and 69th in 2024.

In addition to its overall standing, ULAB also achieved impressive positions in several specialised WURI categories. It ranked 11th globally in Crisis Management, 12th in Ethics and Integrity, and 14th in Culture and Values—affirming its strength in fostering resilience, ethical leadership, and institutional values.
This recognition highlights ULAB's strategic focus on cultivating innovation, values-based education, and forward-thinking leadership in higher education.
