Launch, sea-truck services resume in Bhola after a week
Bhola's weather remained overcast in the morning, with light to moderate rainfall today

Launch and sea-truck services resumed on 10 major river routes in Bhola on Friday (11 July) morning after a week-long suspension following the withdrawal of local cautionary signal No-3 for maritime ports.
BIWTA Bhola River Port Traffic Officer Jasim Uddin said launch operations resumed after the cautionary signal was lifted on yesterday afternoon.
"Launches and sea-trucks began departing from routes such as Ilisha-Lakshmipur, Daulatkhan-Alexander, and Tazumuddin-Monpura from Friday morning," he said.
The travel resumption has brought relief to passengers who had been facing disruptions for the past week due to inclement weather.
Meanwhile, the weather in Bhola remained overcast in the morning, with light to moderate rainfall today.
Md Moniruzzaman, an official at Bhola Met Office, said the district recorded 426.2mm of rainfall over the past eight days, including 29mm in the last 24 hours up to 6am.
