Coast Guard provides free medical services in Munshiganj

Bangladesh Coast Guard provided free medical services and distributed essential medicines to underprivileged residents in Munshiganj on Wednesday.
In a statement, Lieutenant Commander Harun-ur-Rashid, media officer of Coast Guard Headquarters, said the organisation has long been engaged in humanitarian work to support marginalised communities in coastal and riverside regions.
As part of this ongoing commitment, a medical camp was held from 9:00am to 1:00pm in Kandipara under Louhajang Police Station, Munshiganj. The camp was organised by BCG Composite Station Padma under the Coast Guard Dhaka Zone.
A total of 250 poor and distressed individuals, including children, received free medical consultations and essential medicines during the programme.
The Coast Guard spokesperson added that such public service activities will continue in the future.
