Guardian Life Insurance Limited has maintained its strong momentum in 2025, settling claims worth BDT 129 crore in the first quarter, marking a 34% year-over-year growth.

The insurer settled a total of BDT 439 crore in claims during 2024, further reinforcing its reputation for operational efficiency and customer trust.

Currently, 95% of all claims are settled within three working days, with efforts underway to reduce this timeframe further.

Guardian Life now provides insurance coverage to over 1.26 crore people, including employees from more than 500 local and multinational organisations. Its diversified distribution spans Retail, Microinsurance, Digital, Group, and most recently, Bancassurance.

Since the launch of Bancassurance in March 2024, Guardian has taken a commanding lead, accounting for around 79% of all industry-wide Bancassurance sales as of December. This success is primarily driven by its pioneering use of Straight-Through Processing (STP) — a paperless, real-time, end-to-end digital platform for Bancassurance operations.

The insurer continues to innovate across InsurTech, microinsurance, and digital transformation, aiming to expand inclusive, tech-driven protection for millions across Bangladesh.
