Aviation and Aerospace University, Bangladesh bids farewell to aerospace, avionics students
Aviation and Aerospace University, Bangladesh, held a farewell ceremony for its second batch of avionics students and third batch of aerospace students at its Lalmonirhat campus today (16 July).
As part of the programme, the university held thesis defence sessions and inaugurated its 2026 Tree Plantation Programme.
Vice-Chancellor Air Vice Marshal M Mustafizur Rahman attended the event along with deans, senior officials, department heads, faculty members and students.
Addressing the outgoing students, the Vice-Chancellor said specialised knowledge and skills in aerospace and avionics are essential to drive Bangladesh's economic progress.
He urged graduates to apply their knowledge and experience to advance the welfare of the country and its people.
Vice-Chancellor Air Vice Marshal M Mustafizur Rahman also said the university is grateful to the Ministry of Education, the Bangladesh Air Force, and the University Grants Commission for approving the university's budget and supporting academic activities, including the establishment of specialised laboratories.
He then inaugurated the Tree Plantation Programme 2026 in front of the university's Gangchil Residential Building.
University officials and faculty members also joined the plantation initiative.
