In a significant move to enhance football collaboration between Morocco and Bangladesh, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) has proposed comprehensive support for the development of football in Bangladesh.

The proposal was made during the official visit of Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuiyan to the FRMF headquarters in Rabat today (2 July).

Adviser Asif was warmly received by FRMF Secretary General Tarik Najem and Director Hassan Kharbouch.

The Bangladeshi delegation was given an extensive tour of the federation's state-of-the-art facilities, including modern training grounds, fitness units, a cutting-edge medical and rehabilitation center, and other integral parts of Morocco's football infrastructure.

During the visit, FRMF officials provided detailed briefings on Morocco's football governance, talent development programs, and management strategies.

As part of their commitment to fostering international sports partnerships, the federation proposed technical cooperation with Bangladesh. This includes training programs, exchange initiatives, and technical assistance to help Bangladesh elevate its football ecosystem.

In response, Adviser Asif expressed his appreciation for Morocco's hospitality and lauded the achievements of the Moroccan national team, particularly their remarkable performance at the most recent FIFA World Cup.

He noted that Morocco enjoys a growing fanbase in Bangladesh and proposed hosting a friendly football match between the two nations—an idea aimed at deepening sports diplomacy and people-to-people connections.

Adviser Asif also underscored the value of knowledge exchange and collaboration with Morocco to support the development of an international-standard football structure in Bangladesh.

Both sides voiced strong optimism that this high-level visit would serve as a foundation for a long-term partnership, not only in football development but also in broader areas of sports cooperation between the two countries.
