Govt declares 16 July as Martyrs Day

The government today (2 July) declared 16 July as "July Martyrs Day".
The Cabinet Division in a gazette notification asked all concerned ministries, departments and organisations to observe the day as "July Martyrs Day".
According to the notification, the government decided to include this date as a 'Kha' category day in a list of special dates with national and international relevance.
