Remark HB Limited wins Green Factory Award 2025

Remark HB Limited has been awarded the prestigious Green Factory Award 2025 for its outstanding contribution to workplace safety, environmental responsibility, and public awareness in the cosmetics, skincare, and homecare sectors.

The award, presented by the Ministry of Labour and Employment, marks a historic first: Remark is the only company in Bangladesh's cosmetics industry to receive this recognition to date.

At a ceremony held at Osmani Memorial Auditorium in Dhaka, the award was handed over to Remark HB Limited's Managing Director Ashraful Ambia and Director Alamgir Alam Sarkar by Labour and Employment Adviser Brigadier General (Retd.) Dr M. Sakhawat Hossain, Industry Adviser Adilur Rahman Khan, and Secretary A H M Shafiquzzaman.

Commending the company, Dr Sakhawat Hossain remarked, "Remark has brought credibility to the local cosmetics market. Their commitment to quality is setting new benchmarks, and Bangladeshi beauty products are gaining traction in international markets."

Industry Adviser Adilur Rahman Khan echoed the sentiment, stating, "Industries like Remark are proving that eco-friendly manufacturing is not only possible but commercially successful."

With cGMP and ISO-certified facilities, Remark HB Limited manufactures halal-certified skincare and cosmetics using state-of-the-art technology. The company's product portfolio is making significant inroads into international markets, having received export orders worth $2 million at Dubai Derma, the world's largest skincare exhibition.

Remark is also set to participate in Cosmoprof CBE ASEAN 2025 in Thailand, where it will showcase more than 500 products made in Bangladesh.

"The Green Factory Award is a validation of our mission—to produce high-quality, affordable, and scientifically developed skin care products in an environmentally responsible way," said Managing Director Ashraful Ambia.

Jamal Uddin, General Secretary of the Association of Skincare Beauty Products Manufacturers and Exporters of Bangladesh (ASBMEB), noted that Remark has reduced the sector's import dependence and contributed to job creation and skills development.

With continued investment in research, innovation, and export expansion, Remark HB Limited is positioning itself as a regional hub for world-class skincare and cosmetics manufacturing.
