Mob action in any form will no longer be tolerated, Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner SM Sazzat Ali said today (24 June).

"The instigators of mob violence will be brought to book," he said while responding to a question after attending a programme at the DMP Headquarters.

The DMP chief also said that action will be taken if any police officer is found guilty of mishandling a mob situation.
