"The resignation of Padma Oil Company's managing director Sobhan is under process," Shahina Sultana, Secretary (Deputy Secretary) of the BPC, told BSS today (15 May).

Padma Oil Company MD Sobhan resigns

Managing Director of the state-run Padma Oil Company Limited Engineer Md Abdus Sobhan has sent his resignation letter to the Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC).

"The resignation of Padma Oil Company's managing director Sobhan is under process," Shahina Sultana, Secretary (Deputy Secretary) of the BPC, told BSS today (15 May).

She said that as per the procedure, his resignation process will be completed through the approval of higher authority.

"I've received the resignation letter from postal service yesterday," Shahina Sultana said.

Engineer Md Abdus Sobhan sent his resignation letter to the BPC with his signature on May 8.
