Terry Brunk, known to wrestling fans worldwide as the iconic Sabu, has passed away at the age of 60, AEW and WWE confirmed Sunday.

Revered for his brutal, high-risk style, Sabu defined hardcore wrestling through blood-soaked barbed wire matches and daredevil spots that thrilled fans in ECW, New Japan, WCW, TNA, and WWE.

Trained by his legendary uncle, The Sheik, Sabu rose to fame in the '90s ECW era, capturing the ECW World, Tag Team, and TV titles. His unforgettable rivalries with Taz and Rob Van Dam cemented his place as a hardcore pioneer. In 2007, he competed at WrestleMania 23 with the ECW Originals.

Just weeks ago, fans witnessed his final match against Joey Janela at Spring Break 9 in Las Vegas—an unfiltered tribute to his chaotic legacy.

GCW's Brett Lauderdale called it "100 per cent authentic Sabu." His cause of death remains undisclosed.
