Bangladesh drop to 10th in ICC ODI rankings

Bangladesh have dropped one position and are now ranked 10th in the ICC ODI Rankings, following the annual rankings update for all three formats released by the ICC today. The Tigers now have 76 rating points, down by four points, while West Indies have surpassed them, rising five points to 9th place with 83 points.

In the other formats, Bangladesh are ranked 9th in Tests with 62 rating points and 9th in T20Is with 225 points.

Australia remain at the top of the Test rankings with a rating of 126, ahead of the chasing pack. England, led by Ben Stokes, have surged into second place with a rating of 113, overtaking both South Africa (111) and India (105). New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, West Indies, Bangladesh, and Zimbabwe remain unchanged in the top 10.

In the ODI rankings, India have strengthened their position at the top following their victory in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, improving from 122 to 124 rating points. New Zealand, the runners-up in the Champions Trophy, have climbed to second, overtaking Australia, who are now in third.

Sri Lanka, with recent home series wins over India and Australia, have moved up to fourth, while Afghanistan's improvement has seen them rise to seventh, pushing England down to eighth.

In T20Is, India remain at the top, though their lead over second-placed Australia has reduced from 10 to 9 points. England, the 2022 T20 World Cup champions, are in third, followed by New Zealand, West Indies, and South Africa. Sri Lanka have risen to 7th place, overtaking Pakistan, with Bangladesh and Afghanistan sitting in 9th and 10th positions, respectively.
