UAP successfully hosted "UAP Cyber Siege 2025"

The Cyber Security Club of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Asia Pacific (UAP) has successfully organised the national-level cybersecurity competition "UAP Cyber Siege 2025", marking a significant milestone in student-led tech initiatives in Bangladesh.
The event was enthusiastic, with 130 teams from 52 universities nationwide participating in the online preliminary round. From these, the top 30 teams were selected for the onsite final competition at UAP, where the top three teams successfully secured their positions through outstanding performance.
The opening ceremony was graced by the Honourable Vice Chancellor of UAP, Prof. Dr. Qumrul Ahsan, as the Chief Guest, who highlighted the growing need for cybersecurity education and the importance of nurturing skilled professionals in the field.
The competition concluded with a vibrant closing ceremony, with Architect Mahbuba Haque, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees (BOT), UAP, as the Chief Guest. She applauded the initiative and encouraged students to continue exploring the world of cyber defence.
"UAP Cyber Siege 2025" provided a national platform for aspiring cybersecurity enthusiasts to demonstrate their knowledge, collaborate with peers, and promote ethical hacking practices.
