3 madrasah teachers arrested for allegedly sodomising 12-year-old student in Ctg

Police arrested three teachers from Darul Ajka Foyzia Madrasah in Fatikchhari upazila of Chattogram today (28 April) on charges of sodomising a 12-year-old student.
The incident reportedly occurred on Saturday (26 April) on the third floor of Bibirhat City Centre in Fatikchhari Municipality, where the madrasah is located.
The accused teachers have been identified as Golam Rabbi, 22, Mohammad Nurul Islam, 24, and Peyarul Islam, 19.

According to the victim and his family, unable to endure the trauma after the assault, the student disclosed the incident to his family.
His mother subsequently filed a case under the Women and Children Repression Prevention Act at the Fatikchhari Police Station.
Confirming the arrests, Fatikchhari police Officer-in-Charge Nur Ahmed said, "Based on the complaint, the three teachers have been arrested and sent to court for further legal proceedings."
