India suspends Indus Treaty without informing World Bank
India has suspended the Indus Water Treaty with Pakistan after a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, that killed at least 26 people. Delhi formally informed Islamabad about the matter on April 23. But the key mediator of the treaty, the World Bank, has not been informed about the suspension, according to a report in The Hindu.
