Jamuna Oil Company Ltd announced a donation of Tk 20 lakh
Jamuna Oil Company Ltd. (JOCL) announced a donation of Tk 20 lakh to the July Shaheed Smrity Foundation as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
According to a press release, the decision was made during the company's 533rd Board meeting, held virtually on April 16, 2025, and chaired by M. A. Akmall Hossain Azad, Member of the Bangladesh Planning Commission's Physical Infrastructure Division (Senior Secretary).
JOCL Board Directors, including Kaosar Zahura, MD, attended the meeting. Shamsul Alam Bhuiyan, Dr. Nurun Nahar Chowdhury NDC, Mahammad Abdul Quader, Engr. Manzarey Khoeshed Alam, Engr. Shaikh Al Amin, and Saleh Ahmed Khasru. Mustafa Qudrat-I-Elahi, Managing Director, and Md Masudul Islam, Company Secretary, were also present.

The Tk 20 lakh contribution underscores JOCL's commitment to supporting meaningful causes.
