Attorney General Md Asaduzzaman today said no matter how much conspiracies they are hatching from Delhi, the government will hold the trials of killers of the fascist regime.

"Ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is involved in an anti-state conspiracy sitting in Delhi. No matter how much conspiracies she hatches, we will bring the fascist murderers to justice," he said.

The attorney general categorically said no conspiracy could turn the country's people back from holding that trial.

Asaduzzaman made the remarks while speaking at the first reunion programme of the Jarip Biswas Degree College at Shailkupa in Jhenaidah this afternoon (2 April).

The attorney general said the blood debt of the July Uprising martyrs, who freed the country from fascism, must be paid.

"A week before Sheikh Hasina fled to India by a helicopter; she gave the signal to her relatives to leave the country. Hasina and all her relatives fled, leaving thousands of Awami League leaders and activists in danger in the country," he said.

Calling for a social movement against the corrupt people, Asaduzzaman said, "Hasina is giving provocative speeches every now and then staying in Kolkata, India. We have taken an oath standing on the blood of Shaheed Abu Sayeed, Shaheed Mugdho, Shaheed Anas. We will hold the trial of fascist Hasina and her cohorts on the soil of this Bangla".

He added: "Even if needs, we will hold the trials at cost of our lives. No advice from Delhi can hinder the judicial system of Bangladesh".

Jarip Biswas Degree College former student Mahidul Islam presided over the event while Islamic University (IU) Vice-Chancellor Professor Nakib Muhammad Nasrullah were present at the function, among others.
