Eid-ul-Fitr: Yunus greets nation, prays Rohingyas will celebrate Eid in their homeland next year

Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus has greeted all in Bangladesh and 1.2 million Rohingyas living in the Cox's Bazar refugee camps on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, which the country will celebrate tomorrow (31 March).
A video clip, created by the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, on Rohingya refugees was shared on the chief adviser's verified Facebook page this morning (30 March).
In a caption shared with the video, the chief adviser said, "Eid Mubarak to everyone. On this safe and joyful Eid, let us remember that more than 12 lakh guests are in distress in our country.

"I pray that they may be able to celebrate the next Eid in their own homeland."
Bangladesh is sheltering more than 1.2 million Rohingyas - members of the world's largest stateless population who fled violent purges in neighbouring Myanmar - in camps in Cox's Baza, where they have limited access to jobs or education.
Chief Adviser Yunus will offer the Eid-ul-Fitr prayers during the main Eid congregation at the National Eidgah grounds in Dhaka at 8:30am tomorrow.
He will exchange Eid greetings with dignitaries from different walks of life at his office in Tejgaon.
