16th syndicate meeting of AAUB held

The 16th Syndicate meeting of Aviation and Aerospace University, Bangladesh (AAUB) was held on 20 March 2025 at the conference room, Dhaka Campus.

The meeting was presided over by the respected Vice Chancellor of the University, Air Vice Marshal A K M Manirul Bahar, OSP, BSP, ndc, hdmc, afwc, psc, ADWC. 

At the onset, the respected Vice Chancellor conveyed his sincere gratitude to Almighty Allah (SWT) for allowing everyone to attend this meeting in good health and with great zeal. He also recalled with profound respect the revolutionary martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the progress of the country during the July-August revolution. He prayed for the martyrs and the quick healing of wounded heroes. Subsequently, he informed everyone that we were the first university to rename the name following the July Revolution. As a result, he appreciated the close collaboration of all syndicate members in renaming Aviation and Aerospace University, Bangladesh (AAUB). The chairman also mentioned that AAUB, a specialised higher education and research institution, plays a vital role in developing future leaders who can face the challenges of aviation and aerospace technology. Following that, he gave everyone in attendance an overview of the activities since the 15th Syndicate meeting on 17 December 2024.

Later on, the agendas of the 16th Syndicate Meeting were discussed at length, and needful decisions were taken. All the Syndicate members of Aviation and Aerospace University, Bangladesh, including the representative of the Ministry of Education, University Grants Commission, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Bangladesh University of Professionals, Bangladesh Maritime University and CAAB, attended the meeting.
