Main accused in Lalmonirhat rape case arrested

The Rapid Action Battalion arrested the main accused in a rape case in Kurigram district town on Monday afternoon.
The accused, from Lalmonirhat's South Musharat Madati village, was charged with raping his elder brother's wife on 5 July 2024, after luring her with promises of marriage.
Following the victim's complaint at Hatibandha Police Station, RAB-13's Crime Prevention Specialized Company (CPSC) conducted an operation and apprehended the accused at 3pm.
