An old video of a different incident is being circulated to spread propaganda claiming it shows a UN team meeting with former prime minister Sheikh Hasina, who was overthrown in the July-August uprising last year.
This information came to light after an investigation by 'BanglaFact', a fact-checking and media research unit under the Press Institute Bangladesh (PIB).
The organisation's investigation found that the video in question is from a civic reception for Sheikh Hasina in London in 2023. It was recently uploaded and posted on social media platforms, claiming it shows Hasina holding a meeting with the UN team in Delhi.
