BRAC Bank inaugurates sub-branch in Hatirpool

Selim R F Hussain, Managing Director and CEO of BRAC Bank, formally opened the sub-branch on February 18, 2025, in the presence of Sheikh Mohammad Ashfaque, Deputy Managing Director and Head of the Branch Distribution Network.

A K M Tareq, Senior Zonal Head for North, and senior officials of the bank's Distribution Network were present.Hatirpool is one of Dhaka'sDhaka's bustling commercial places with Eastern Plaza, Motalib Plaza, a cluster of  tiles and sanitaryware shops, and urban establishments in its proximity.   

BRAC Bank launched the Sub-branch Network as part of its multi-channel distribution strategy, aiming to bring the best banking services to customers across the country.

The new sub-branch will offer a range of modern banking services that will provide convenience to individual and business customers. Customers can avail of all banking services, including account opening, cash deposit and withdrawal, deposit pension scheme, fund transfer using EFTN and RTGS, remittance service, utility bill, credit card, student file, consumer loan, debit card, and chequebook processing, Astha App enrollment, school banking, savings instruments, and many more, except for foreign exchange services. 

With an extensive network of 189 branches and 74 sub-branches, BRAC Bank is one of Bangladesh's most expansive banking networks.
